Yes, cash refunds are supported. However, there's a NetSuite API limitation on referencing cash refund transactions in SmartClient. At a minimum, the cash refund template in SmartClient must include the Doc and Amount columns in the Apply List sub-list. The internal ID of the return authorization must be set in the Doc column similar to the process when paying invoices in SmartClient. This process is better illustrated in steps 5 and 6 of this page.
