Using and Maintaining Google Drive from NetSuite

Once you have uploaded or created and attached your documents to your records, you may view and edit those documents from the Google Drive subtab.

To view/edit a Google Doc:

  1. Navigate to the record under the Lists menu to which the document is attached.
  2. Click the Google Drive subtab.
  3. Click the name of the document to open it in Google Drive Viewer.
  4. You can view and edit the document.
  5. Once you are finished, click Save in Google Drive and close the window.

To remove a Google Doc:

  1. Navigate to the record under the Lists menu to which the document is attached.
  2. Click the Google Drive subtab.
  3. In the Remove column, click Remove next to the document you would like to detach.
  4. A pop-up window opens asking if you are sure, click OK to remove the document.

The document is now removed from the record but it can still be accessed through Google Drive. Note that removing a document from the attachments list, does not cause the document to be deleted in Google Drive.
